This incident caused the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later released.

Officers detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - which police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
