Yields 10 people

Ingredients for the Clementine Syrup (produces 750ml)

300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar

Ingredients for the Cocktail (produces 850ml, enough for 10)

400ml good quality vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine cordial (see above)
A few cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch

Directions

To prepare the Syrup: Place every ingredients into a pot, bring to a simmer, stirring so the sugar melts. Then, turn off the burner and leave to reach room temperature completely. Pour to a clean bottle, seal and store chilled, where it will keep for up to one month.

Preparing the Premix: Mix all the spirits and syrup in a big jug, leave to sit for one hour, then pass it through preferably using a fine cloth, so it's completely strained.

To serve: Add 85ml of the cocktail base into your stirring glass filled with ice, gently stirring gently for about 60 seconds to chill. Strain into a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, decorate with a few cranberries adding the final touch using a quick spritz of mandarin oil above the glass.
